Elaine Isaak

To quote my hero as envisioned by Man of La Mancha,

“Perhaps to be too practical is madness, to surrender dreams, this may be madness, and maddest of all, to see life as it is and not as it should be!”

Here is the place where I refuse to surrender my dreams—and, in fact, where I invite you to join them.

Rocinante is the name of Don Quixote’s horse: the means by which he pursues his wild dream of becoming a knight errant, a quest by turns worrisome and inspiring, and thus, the perfect name for my own publishing venture. Rocinante Books was born to gather my various genres, projects, and pseudonyms under the same roof for the first time ever. You will find here the source for my Bone Guard series of international thrillers, as well as my epic fantasy novellas, the Tales of Bladesend, and everything in between!

I also offer workshops and talks at writing groups and conferences, and developmental editing, if you’re an author in need, I’d love to talk with you about your own dreams and visions.

Whatever quest brings you here, I hope you enjoy your stay. You’ll find a free story on every genre page as my thanks to you, gentle (or not so gentle) reader. If you sign on to the newsletter, I’ll keep you up to date about the latest windmills I’m tilting… You can also follow some of my adventures via Facebook and Twitter. And, as always, if you enjoy what you’ve read, please leave a review wherever you prefer to share your reading—they really do make a difference!

Thanks for reading!

I'd love to hear from you.
